Looking for a new phone and open to suggestions, I was excited read your post. Hopped on GSM arena and wow I thought you were joking, I was convinced that phone was at least 5 years old. Look at those bezels! Maybe the edge screen of Samsung is a bit much and obviously some bezel is fine but this IMHO a seriously ugly phone. So in design, it doesn't seem to beat the Galaxy S8.
As for specs, what's better? They both have USB-C, 4gb RAM and same screen resolution. What else should I be looking for?
Bezels? Since when was that such a bad thing, they allow dual front facing speakers which are great if you use the phone for music/TV/film. Imo the Premium looks great especially the chrome one, watch a YouTube video.
Specs wise the Sony's camera is far superior to Samsung as is the screen (4K HDR). Then you have the interface, finger sensor positioning etc which are also much better on the Sony.
Basically just watch some YouTube videos or read some articles all the ones I've seen state the Sony is the most promising phone this year.
If you care about sound, you would put earphones in and not use the built in speakers. Not even dual speakers are ever a match for a good pair of earphones or cans.
Bezels just look old these days.
Most people use earphones when listening to music by themselves or blutooth speakers when with people so that doesn't matter too much.4k is super unnecessary for phones of this size and Samsung have THE best quality screens of any device.
And jeez that other guy is right. That Sony phone is ugly.
Bexectech's business model is to price low to appear on the top of search engines and charge obscene shipping costs. This alone is enough for me to stay well away from them
100% the same conclusion I reached years ago. Actually had an email chat with a rep over it. I said it was a dishonest way of getting to the top of price search engines like shopbot and staticice in order to increase traffic to the site and trick people into thinking it's the cheapest until they find out the shipping costs.
They actively monitor other sites prices, and if someone else's non-shipped price is cheaper, they match it to ensure they stay at the top.
He said, what good is traffic if it doesn't translate into sales? I decided not to bother responding further, but I do appreciate that they took the time to reply to my complaints about their business practices.

2 seconds of googling and a search on facebook saw loads of bad feedback.
facebook friends (2 of them) got warranty repairs back 6+ weeks and in a worse or non-repaired state and they wanted freight each way.

Yeah I ordered my last phone Sony z4 from these guys, I recieved my phone and I already had a z3 I put in the memory card from my old phone and it wouldn't read it, so I contacted them and sent them screen shots and they told me they'll have a courier pick it up, so then few days later they message me telling me the phone is fine and if you want it back you need to pay the $74 courier fee if I want to get my phone back that I already paid for, I'll never use this guys again.
You have to pay for their bad luck.
Store claims it's the best deal just to shadily rip you off with shipping. Ends up being pretty much the same as Kogan, and a few $ cheaper than eglobal after shipping.

Hmmm…Nah mate, I literally just saw this when browsing. Desperate to find any good deals on S8 in Oz and just wanted to hear people's impressions on this deal.
Won't be any good deal s8. It just have been released. Smart people is to get s7 because samsung will reduce s7 price due to s8 is out.
But S7 ain't the S8.
