  • The best plans for data are the 24 month, but they are lock in, so.

I think I'm on 10gb/month for $40, not sure where I got it though.

i'm taking bout the ones with one

      • Ah.

Well it's not much data (3.5gb), but http://shop.vodafone.com.au/mobile-details/huawei-p9-titaniu… seems alright? $55 for the plan if you get the phone, and you can get a further 10% discount if you're a student.

If you want more data, you can throw it up to $70/month, with the 10% discount available if you're a student. This plan would get you 10gb of data instead of 3.5.

i already have a p9, so loking for an other phone, why is vodaphone so expensive

        • You want a new phone and a plan with it?

I'm pretty sure these are fairly standard costs in AU

  • Honestly if you can only pay $50 a month you're better off buying a phone outright (there are some great budget phones that can be had for around $300) and getting a SIM only plan.

If you can't afford the phone outright (which I'm assuming is why you're asking for advice about plans that include a phone), having a quick look at the phones they offer the Oppo R9s and Huawei P9 seem to be solid picks. The Oppo and Huawei are $60 and $65 a month respectively on a 24 month contract with the $60 Vodafone Red plan. I have no experience with Sony or HTC, and have not used an iPhone in a long time so I cannot comment on their offerings.

Note however that the plan only includes 3.5gb of data, which is a fairly paltry amount by today's standards.

EDIT: I didn't notice the $10 off access fees for the P9 which makes better value (in my opinion) than the Oppo.

isn't the r9s like 500 bucks and same goes for p9, so they are very cheap phones, which are trash

If these phones are not good enough for you, you'll probably want to get a flagship device then. (Galaxy S7/8, Mate 9, etc…)

Wouldn't it be nice if OPs divulged all the requirements before asking for help, rather than just replying later on with them…?

on top of this, sounds like a complete douchebag. Not even saying something as simple as a 'thank you' for people trying to help.
