I'm looking for recommendations on where to get makeup lessons for a complete beginner in the Sydney CBD area. I'm after lessons for daytime makeup.
I've heard that Mecca and Sephora do makeup lessons but I'm a little iffy about going with these places as I've heard they can be a bit pushy on trying to get you to buy their products.

A lot of places like Mecca offer lessons that are redeemable on products e.g. you pay $95 for a lesson and you can redeem it for $95 of product.
I did this for my pre-wedding shot worked out well. I was able to buy a few touch up things for myself with the credit. You can always tell them if you don't want any help using the credit. I asked for suggestions, but your don't need to buy things at the end of the day. It is your credit to use as you want.
How would anyone tell you've applied some Makeup down at Mecca?
