Unless you have private health that covers glasses, I would recommend you try purchasing glasses online, you can ask to get your prescription from the place you got your eye test done and they are required to give it to you.

I recently received new prescription sunnies + normal glasses from eyebuydirect for $130 total including express postage during a big sale they had, I'm very happy with them and were delivered to my door in under 2 weeks, They even have gradient tinting for $6.

I'm pretty sure they aren't even the close to the cheapest online either, plenty of places to choose from, and if you don't like the ones you got, you can try like 8 more times before breaking even on OPSM prices.

    • You are a legend.

      Thx for shading +1000

    • What sites do you use? Do you order the glasses without prescription first to see how they fit, and then return them?

I've only done it twice, once from ausspecs and once from eyebuydirect, I like the eyebuydirect ones a lot better.

I just pick something that looks good in large size and hope for the best, I think some companies do offer that service though, but I haven't looked into it really.

They do have a function where you can upload a picture and see how big each pair will look on your face, but I didn't try it.
