What is the cheapest way to have a black & white laser printer with dual paper feed?

Hello

For my work I print on two types of A4 paper regularly throughout the day. It is a pain to have to keep exchanging the paper back and forth on my printer. It does use a bit more time, and lots of paper wasted when if forget to change over.

I remember seeing printers where there can be more than one paper tray for different types of paper. Wondering if they are expensive, or what is the cheapest way to get a new printer that will do that? I only need to print black and white.

many thanks

Most office laser printers can have an additional tray added to their bottom, like stacking lego bricks. Perhaps check your model first, and see if you can find an "expansion tray" or "optional tray" or "addon tray". Otherwise, maybe look for a new printer with an extra tray, or buy a tray and printer separately.

    Example (used):

    • Thanks. Something like this was what I was thinking about. Its also a bit more pricey than I imagined. Good to know tho !
