With all the Comodo Positive SSL deals and hosts that now give "free" Comodo or Let's Encrypt certificates I felt something should be clarified. cPanel now has an option for AutoSSL, which will automatically renew 90-day Comodo certificates free-of-charge.
Yep, AutoSSL is pretty handy.
Though with AutoSSL (Let's encrypt), you won't get any "insurance" if it gets hacked. Still, if you just want that 'Secure' message it does the job perfectly!
Spoke too soon anyway in my case :( My shoddy host is turning off AutoSSL soon. They didn't give a reason so I'll assume it's for selfish reasons.
