Suffering from tinnitus, got a referral to a hearing specialist nearby, wanted to charge $200 first consultation and hearing tests up to $500 altogether.
I am hoping there can be some not so expensive ones around the area.
Or feel free to correct me about the expected price to see a hearing specialist.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe there is no real treatment for tinnitus. What are you hoping to achieve from these medical checks, confirmation of diagnosis?
Many people with tinnitus find white noise in the background when trying to sleep helpful so they don't notice the ringing as much, but even if you see a specialist it's not like they can reverse tinnitus.
