Hahaha. Came here to say this. We use them at work because my boss won't use anyone else. I show the boss cheaper prices by massive margins at other suppliers and it's still the same… "Just get it from blackwoods, it's easier…" The boss will think this is a gift from god… :D
yep. They want to be the 'one stop shop', but they are clueless. I remember when I started my business in ~1998 they refused to send us a catalogue. Have bought very little from them over the years.
Last attempted purchase was for a product promoted in a trade mag. They had no stock, and a MOQ of 6 units because they "had to order it in". I only needed 1, so I went on a hold list, since it wasn't urgent. After 3 months they followed up and I said forget it. To be fair, the girl on the phone was very helpful, but how stupid is it to advertise a product and then refuse to stock it unless the end customer buys a wholesale quantity. The only justification for paying their outrageous mark-up is that they have everything in stock, and sell in retail quantities. The don't tick either box.

Blackwood's is the crappiest, most overrated, expensive company i have ever come across. Without even looking i can guarantee you'll find way cheaper elsewhere even with the 30% off
