Input for digital magazine only

Hi,

We are in the process of starting a community paper overseas that will be free but funding will come from adverts in the magazine.

Very similar set-up like the community papers around Australia.

More publishers go digital even though they still distribute printed editions.

I would like to have some feedback and ideas how to go 100% digital. The funds saved on printing can be invested in better coverage of the local area that the paper will cover.

Feel free to post silly comments as they make me laugh and makes me feel younger ha ha ha ;-) Better than plastic surgery and 100% natural.

Some useful tips and suggestions are also much appreciated.

If someone comes up with a really good idea that can be used I might even have a free OZBARGAIN celebration with no free food.

Thanks guys and girls

  • So which parts were you considering to e enhanced with plastic? I heard a rubber band can sometimes work too

  • +1

Thanks, but I only feel 1 year younger. Not that funny ha ha ha ha…

  • Hi,

This reminds me of the free Paper based Messenger Newspapers that are delivered but also available @ http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/messenger/digital-editions takes you to: http://messenger.newspaperdirect.com/epaper/viewer.aspx
So you get options to print, enlarge, download, export to ereader etc. My preference would be a *.pdf

I can't think of anything much to say that is funny or will make you feel younger except to say that with left over newspapers you can make Papier Mâché masks that take years off your age, can be worn to scare people into paying their overdue advertising accounts and still leave you ready to go for Halloween and other events…

  • Thanks holdenmg.

    That was constructive.

    I appreciate it.

Personally, I don't read paper newspapers or magazines anymore. Rather read it on my pc instead or ipad.
