Fly to London (LGW) One Way from ~ AU $320 with Scoot + Norwegian Air Oct '17 - Mar '18

Thanks to secretflying, found this cheap one way fare to London.
Combined with Scoot, even if you add the extra baggage and meals, it is still under AU $500 from Perth and probably other Australian cities with only one stopover in Singapore.
You will have to make separate bookings with Scoot and Norwegian Air but seems to be plenty availabe, YMMV. I know it's a tough crowd here on OzBargain lately but hopefully it will be useful for some. Not sure about Scoot metal but Norwegian lag is on a 787 Dreamliner for the SIN-LGW direct flight.

    This was discussed in the scoot singapore deal thread. The return costs for norwegian are significantly higher unfortunately.

      Don't know about that discussion but you're correct, return flight is expensive. Therefore, just posted it as a one way cheap option.

    This is very big news.

    Although the flights from London reduce the savings it opens up so much potential for budget Eurotrips e.g. it's a little cheaper to return from Oslo and you can combine this deal with a Scoot Athens trip, for example.

    But what I'm hoping is that this sets the standard price to Europe of $800 outside peak season (of course my impulse limit is $600).

    This sort of one way ticket might tie in with the relocation cruises you can get. Might be worth an investigation on dates.
