  • Are you sure it's eligible for the cashback? I thought Costco supply their own warranty and hence would not be eligible for the cashback.

I bought the smaller model last year and got the $40 cashback from Phillips, without any iasues

  • Are these things any good? The idea of frying without oil doesn't sound right!

    • its just a glorified fan forced oven.

I've been using the cheapest Bellini model a while now and think it's decent.
Like xcal said it's basically an oven, but it cooks quicker and more consistent imo.

      Yes they're good.
I have the smaller version and its replaced the oven, less space to heat.
Done pork crackling/ roast chicken/ veges/chips etc. Just haven't tried cakes yet but have heard good things.
Stick a small pyrex dish in to make meat and veg sauce dish.
Just line the bottom with alfoil to save on the cleanup.

This is by far the best appliance I have ever bought. The missus wanted one and I thought it was going to be another gimmick.

I was dead wrong. Makes frozen chips as easy as anything.

Reheat KFC and lots of other leftovers and actually makes them taste better because it drains the fat and oil.

We make pizzas by slice in it too. Toasting and melting cheese onto burger buns to add to a nice home made burger.

The only downside is the size. Works great for making small meals for 2 people but not so much for larger families of entertaining guests.

      • I was exactly the same as you! Fiancee has been nagging for one for a long time now and I finally caved in today and bought one from this deal.

I am very amazed at this little machine, makes great fried food without needing litres of oil. I think we'll be keeping this out on the bench :)

        • Yeah man! I was really skeptical at first but good thing we caved.

Now all fried foods are so accessible, I'll have to watch my health. Having air-fried pizzas for dinner tonight.

This particular model is absolutely awesome when it works, however they can be very unreliable and can breakdown easily, I'm on to my 3rd one now in 3 years!

    • Did you get extended warranty for this?

      • No, just standard but given their unreliability, it would be worth getting extended warranty if price is OK.

Just tried ours today and it was fabulous. We started with chips, threw in some steaks, fried some shrimps and they all came out really well.

  • Will good guys price match that??

    • Worth ringing around.
I remember when the smaller white/purple was on special, I ended up ringing Big W and price matched the black one.

      • I called good guys and HN and they dont price match them.

Big w does not stock this particular model and dont want to spend extra on their membership now.

    • Worth ringing around.

  • I guess i will get philips airfryer 9621 which is on sale with Myer for $243 and $193 after $50 cashback.

  • Bought one, thank you :)

How many days it takes to receive the cash back in the bank account?

  • Just got one yesterday had to test it out on some chips… all I can say is WOW! I was so skeptical of this glorified fan oven but from frozen chips to super crunchy chips in 15mins without oil… I'm glad my wife nagged me to buy one for months. LOL
