  • what do you mean by a clean windows setup? A complete format and reinstall. and by complete i mean delete all partitons and the hard drive and start again.

  • SSD might have a defect

    • or the cable.

Ah yes another Windows 10 victim.

The latest from Microsoft is please don't upgrade Windows 10.

  • have you tried googling the error message or symptoms?
You possibly have a corrupt boot record or your SSD is starting to corrupt

  • Do you mean you migrated your disk image from a HDD to an SSD and that is when the error started?
Does it work if you put the HDD back?

  • I got it working with a clean install its a hassle reinstalling all files but is there a way to create a backup and place it on usb so I dont need to reinstall?

  • Are you running the latest firmware for your SSD? I had random crashes with my Samsung Evo SSD in the past, but a firmware update fixed the problem.

  • yep latest
