    Record low was around $550-600?

    • Yeah $569 including eBay 20% & gift card March 2016, this is $650 in comparison
Not too bad considering eBay deals getting tight and/or the price jacking is at a premium

Shipping costs apply to ACT, WA and TAS (based on quick checks)

  • Does anyone have a rough idea what it costs to have one of these installed based on past experiences ?

This crowd is charging $650 for a Sydney Metro installation on a single story home. No doubt others will be there or thereabouts.

    • In Perth WA two same models were installed for $350 each at my home. And $50 extra for wall brackets (optional).

      • How did you get it done so cheaply? Licensed electrician?

      • Thats good! I paid $450 for the same thing, single story house.
Would go the Samsung over this one though. This is ugly and pretty noisy.

  • This unit is terrible, I have this exact model in my bedroom. I have to set thermostat to 27 degrees to get about 20 degrees in these past couple freezing nights in Syd. Cooling not as bad, but even then slow to work and very noisy.

Much bigger lounge room with Mitsubishi unit (same Kw ratings) that was already there when I bought the place heats and cools in a fraction of the time. Never Fujitsu for me again, next one will be Mitsubishi Heavy or if I can afford it a Daikin

    • Is there something wrong with your unit?
I have mine at at 22 degrees on the lowest fan setting and it's whisper quiet and still cut though Melbourne's recent winter blast..

      • I may need to get in touch with them then, the unit definitely isn't whisper quiet but the worst thing is I can hear the outdoor box all the time as well

        • Sounds like it has a problem like a gas leak or low gas so it has to run all the time. Definitely not normal.

Same thing happen to to my sister.

  • Any suggestions for a 8.5 to 9KW unit? I've got a large meal / family open planned area that needs a split for cooling purposes. Heating is via ducted heating.
