Hi Guys, need to get a sim for my mum and dad . Already bought the phone outright. Does anyone know if there is any cash card or something with heaps of validity please? I'll be calling them and they will be using home wifi for internet / internet calling etc. Thanks a lot for your help and advice in advance.

The other option is the Optus daily where it's like $1 a day only when you make calls or use data and gives you enough calls and 50mb data

Buy a $2 Amaysim at your local grocery store… sign up for the as you go plan… calls 12c per min no flagfall, 12c txt.
Billed monthy but only if over $10 otherwise billed every 3 mths.
Only need to make one call per 3 mths to keep the line active.
Total cost… $2 sim + min 4 calls per year @ 12c. Total $2.48 first year and $0.48c per year after that.
ALDI Mobile?
365 day expiry. The pack costs $5 and comes with $5 credit which will last a year. You then top up next year, min $15.. or perhaps you could just port out and back in again.
