    None.
    I have never used one.

  • How would one determine the efficiency of a pillow…?

    • Apologies. I'm half asleep, wrote effecient of effective.

    There's currently a sale on bagworld. https://www.bagworld.com.au/shop/listings/travel-pillows/

  • I use a neck pillow $4 from a shopping centre. One of those bow shaped ones. Perfecf

The blow up ones are the easiest to pack and the memory foam ones are, usually, the most comfortable. The other alternative is look into using a shawl that you roll up, they fold flat and you can also double it as something to wear when it is cold.

    • Yep, usually just roll up a jacket or similar. Also saves space because said item is not packed in luggage.

      • Take items out of the pockets first :)

  • my $7 one from kmart is good enough, squishy and has a button clip so I can clip it onto a bag strap instead of carrying

I find travel pillows more of a burden to carry than they are comfortable to use. If I am stuck in economy I can't recline my seat enough to get benefit from a travel pillow. If I am in business then I expect a nice pillow to be provided.

    • I agree with this. I just got back from the States and having to take the memory foam pillow with me was more of a nuisance than the benefit I got on the plane (which was minimal).

  • I find most pillows too thick at the back of the neck so my head and neck gets pushed forward. I'm think the most expensive one on bagworld will be the one I get next. Similar ones at the airport are like $50! Nice and skinny at the back but thick on the sides if my head rolls to the side.
