Four excellent whites here, in order from lightest to largesse. The Hamilton and K1 Sauv Blancs are both excellent examples from the Adelaide Hills. The K1 perhaps a touch riper, with apricotty notes joining the cut grass and Granny Smith apple. The Hamilton is a tough tighter with more emphasis on the greenery. The Leconfield Riesling earned its gold medal, offering fresh citrus and minerality along with excellent persistence. Finally, the Parker Chardonnay has a lovely mouthfeel and depth. Not too much oak here, creaminess, stonefruits and just a hint of grapefruit.
