Need Some Shower Space Ideas to Prevent Water Splash

My frameless shower screen is poorly constructed, it is not wide enough to cover the splashes made so water splashes on the tiles outside of shower.

Right now, I am using a squeegee to scrap the water back in the shower and down the drain.

Any ideas for a solution to this problem?

FYI* - I cannot replace the screen because it is a drilled and attached to the wall and I live in an apartment.
- I need to shower everyday

Thanks

  • Got a pic or diagram?

Is this what you need? https://www.bunnings.com.au/estilo-6mm-x-1m-pvc-shower-seal-…

  • May not be elegant, but how about a shower screen from the top? You could probably get away with 3M hooks, so no drilling required.

Oooh interesting! But not sure if there are very long shower curtains out there.

        • Thanks that's a great suggestion

We've got the exact same thing as what you attached.
A single pane of glass, water splashes in front.
We too squeegee after every shower.
I still prefer it this way with the extra squeegee-ing.
Less screen walls to clean and squeegeeing the floor every time means it's dryer more often, preventing mould.

What we did was go to bunning and buy a cheapo squeegee that was 1.5x wider than what we had.
Cost around $4 and saves heaps of time clearing the water.
Might be enough to save some headaches. :)

As you have found out, open showers are a stupid trend.

    • Thanks! I've been quoted from a few different shower places and your idea seems like that's the way to go.
