This looks like a decent game free for 1 day at Google Play. Has good reviews as well so worth a shot.

    It's an ok game. Though Postknight is basically a better/deeper version of this game (and also free).

    Is there a way to "purchase" (free) apps on Play without downloading it to any of your devices?

    I don't play mobile games but this looks good and worth owning.

      Just click install and then cancel it. Stays in your account as purchased I'm pretty sure.

          Does it automatically clean up the partially downloaded files?

          I hoped they would do it like Steam or PSN where you can purchase without downloading it straight away.

      If it's compatible, I "install" things to an old tablet of mine that's been dead for years, but still comes up as a device.

        I do that too when I can. But a lot of apps are starting to become incompatible.

        It doesn't sound difficult for Google to implement a purchase button that doesn't immediately download it, or ask which device to install it to.

          Yup. Or even order your purchases by date or rating or something. Or even archive apps you don't use anymore.
