          I respect Coles for not getting drawn into these promotions. My tax dollars fund enough children, without also having to pay for plastic discs and free fruit.

          Nope, it actually increases their sales at the detriment of Coles. It is also subsidised but the companies that award the 'bonus' discs, so they basically pay for the cost of the product.

          @PainToad: how exactly are you paying for others' kids with the free fruit? Woolworths doesn't force you to buy from them and the free fruit is a marketing exercise. It in no way affects the price of goods any more than a TV commercial (most likely 0.01% in comparison) and possibly falls in line with wastage allocation. If you're talking about government taxes well your parents' generation probably spent a whole lot more on you and your ilk in taxes than what we do today. Remember free university education.

      Yes it does include the discs ,we received a delivery yesterday & they tripled the discs we were meant to get .

    For some added value it appears if you spend more than $150 you points are X 10 I.e 150 becomes 1500

    Not sure if this is the case for everyone

    We got 2 targeted offers on different accounts for free delivery for the whole month of May .One was free delivery on $100 spend ,the other was free delivery on $120spend.
