SpotSave Android & iOS Beta Released!

Hi Ozbargainers, I'm pleased to announce that the SpotSave Android Beta is now out!

If you're tired of searching through catalogues to check when your favourite items are on special, this app is for you. You can setup a personal watchlist for all your favourite items, customised by store, and the app will send you a notification whenever they go on special.

You can also instantly compare prices between Coles and Woolies, saving you more money. Soon you'll also be able to split your trolley between stores to maximise your savings.

    I've always liked the barcode scanner app that lists all the stores selling that item. If it's cheaper elsewhere, you put the product back on the shelf and walk out.

    I'm pleased to announce that the SpotSave iOS beta is now available to download at www.spotsave.com.au.

    The app lets you instantly compare prices between Coles and Woolies on thousands of items. With the integrated shopping list, you can easily see which store offers you the lowest price on your shopping this week. You can also split your shopping between stores to maximise your savings.

        Hi Savas, we don't have any plans to develop a Windows version at this stage.

      Yey! My mum does this thing where she first goes to Woolies and looks around. Then walks to Coles to compare prices and buy whatevers cheaper, then walks back to Woolies to complete her shopping. Although its probably good that she walks around a bit, at least this provides another option when shes busy haha.

        Hi Wystri, we have released an android beta, though it's a bit out of date atm as we've been working mainly on the ios version recently. The updated android beta should be out within 2 weeks.

      Hey nice I was also looking to develop something like this, any plans to also include comparisons between ALDI/IGA/other groceries?

        Hi Neogohan1, we might add Aldi later on depending on feasibility and user demand. IGA probably not since they're quite small and their prices are generally higher I think.
