Cheapest Telstra Network Unlimited National Calls and Text with Minimum 1GB Data

What's the cheapest you can get unlimited national calls and text, including 1800 and 1300, with a minimum of 1 GB data, on the Telstra network?

Optus network I can get that for $10 a month on a 12 month plan with Vaya. Vodafone network probably cheaper but no good for me. Cheapest I can find for Telstra is $19 per month- I forget where. I'd prefer Telstra for the rare occasions I'm at Woop Woop looking for a signal but that's too much of a premium.

  • You can get $10 per month on Telstra pre paid when Coles/Woolworths have sales on the $30 Telstra Pre Paid Starter Kits.

    • +1

Won't that leave me stranded after 3 months?

      • No, what you do is combine that with a $2 sim from Optus/Vodafone and when your 28 days is up with Telstra, you port your number over to Optus/Vodafone for about 5-10min (assuming the port is successful) and then port back to Telstra. Therefore you end up paying $12 every 28 days.

        • Can you outsource that?

  • Cheapest plan with unlimited calls and texts on Telstra I can see is AldiMobile, for $25. Assuming the reduced coverage of resellers is okay? If not, you have to choose between Boost and Telstra itself.

    • That's even worse than I thought. Telstra reseller acceptable.

Oh, well- it looks like Optus network for me.

  • Can u shed some light on Telstra $19/mnth?
My last check was $30 for unlim calls.
    So… telstra network $360 for 365days

    • No- made a mistake- there was no $19 deal. It wasn't unlimited.

      Boost
      ALDI Mobile
      Woolworths Mobile
      CMOBILE
      TeleChoice
      Southern Phone

Is that a complete list of Telstra resellers? They are the ones I looked at.

  • What plan is cheapest for unlimited calls, sms with 1gb data any carrier?
Cheapest I can find is 365 Kogan deal works out $10 a month

    • The Amaysim deal is good for $9.95 per 28 days = 5/12 months and you get $32 Cashrewards cashback, apparently. Price goes up to $24.90 then. Check it out.

But if you can't be bothered with that go with Kogan if Vodafone works for you.

      • Yeah thats a good deal but was just thinking of something that is permanent
