  • Not bad. Normally $135 from UMART.

  • Anybody in Melbourne want to order together and split up shipping. Shipping still $13.95 via Overnite Startrack for 2 nos. Or better if anyone knows of a free shipping code.

  • So OC 2gigli GTX nope RX better. I think many 99$ good enuffs

  • Currently have an ATI 6950 card on my pc, would this be worth an upgrade to? Main uses are Dota 2

    • I think that's actually a downgrade… RX 460 would be a tad slower than your 6950.

RX 460 though uses a lot less power (roughly 90 watts compared to 128 watts). You're comparing 14nm versus 40nm, so it's no understatement to say that your current card is like a gas-guzzling SUV compared to Nissan leaf when it comes to power usage.

      • Are you sure it's a downgrade?

        • Yeap. About 6 percent. If you look only at the 3d mark score and ignore the CPU related ones, you can see they just about trade blows in synthetic benchmarks.

For a DOTA2 machine this probably means no significant difference. Main difference would be thermals and power usage.

    • Have a look at the benchmarks. I think scrimshaw hit the nail on the head.

  • How would this compare to an R7 360? Looking to upgrade but not sure I want to pull the trigger on an rx480 yet. I don't game too heavily.

    • Benchmarks put it at ~35% faster than the R7 360. May or may not be enough, depending on the sort of games you play. Maybe you should consider the RX470/570? That should be good for all 1080p 60fps scenarios.

  • Good deal, I'd pull the trigger if they had a Melbourne store. They must be clearing stock for the RX560 coming out soon(TM). The 560 has 2 extra compute units (14->16) and a mild clock increase. Should expect maybe a 12-15% performance boost out of it, so maybe it would be better to wait?

    • Nah. Only CPU compute. This is a GPU, they pixel draw dotty on LCD refreshing

  • MSY just dropped price of theirs to $109 according to their EDM

  • +1

Clearing stock for sure… but at this price its a good deal!!… the RX 550 will slot into the $110 price point and the RX 560 will be at the $150 point

Nothing can touch this card at $99 for price to performance.. NOTHING!

    RX 470 570 will be over $200
