Wireless home broadband - any good recommendations or deals?

Hi,

Looking for a wireless broadband for my home. Preferred, no lock in contract and unlimited data.

I am with Vividwireless, just got informed that they will no longer be providing internet to my area. Currently paying $79 for unlimited data.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Not many providers offer unlimited wireless broadband.
Not many providers even offer wireless home broadband.
You might want to check with Optus for their 200gb deal but they may not service your area.
Another alternative would be to go with high data sim plans like Ovo 70gb or Jenee 70gb

Perth also have uniti wireless available as well i do believe?

    • Thank you so much, i will look into your suggestions and yes you are right, not many providers offer the unlimited wireless broadband, no wonder my search is not returning any results! :S

If you want unlimited you will probably need to get a fixed service. Any reason you need a wireless service?

    • no specific reasons really. Just thought wireless might be more convenient.

      • unless for some uncontrollable reason or inadequate speeds (<10mpbs) fixed lines is always usually better and cheaper.

  • My sympathies OP, we're with Vivid as well and were kept on the Wimax network last year when they started changing people over to LTE, as we weren't in the coverage area for the new network. When I received the notification recently about the switch-off of Wimax, I though "uh oh" as we're quite limited with regards to ISP availability/plans in our area but apparently we're in the LTE coverage area now, so are able to continue with Vivid for the moment anyway. Will be interested to see who you end up going with, as we'll be keeping an eye out for an alternative just in case the LTE doesn't work out - Vivid sent us the new modem so activated it today and keeping fingers crossed!

  • unlimited wireless broadband (Usually not provided and if did not the quality)
Wireless Broadband (Not not a game for majority)
optus serves selective area but its a good option.
You can consider Data sim plans, it can be useful to you.
