Seeking Advice on Choosing a Credit Card

Hi guys,

I am looking for advice on choosing a right credit card. I've done a research on this but the decision wasn't quite easy.
I am spending approximately 5k every month and my income qualifies for most credit card income requirement.

My only goal with the credit card is to redeem points for gift cards as I am working for an airline so don't want to convert to or earn frequent flyer points.

It looks like Amex explorer card earns good point and redemption rate looks quite good with Amex however I just missed 100k signup promotion.
