  Tampons are useful when camping.

  In tents where 3 zips join there is always a gap that ants and mosquitoes can get through. We have a noseeum-proof mesh enclosure that attaches under the awning on the side of our vehicle. There are 3 zip openings on all 4 sides so there are a lot of places were bities can get in.

  Tie a tampon to one of the horizontal zips so they don't get lost; not the vertical one because they dangle and get in the way. Spray the tampon with fly spray and put it in the gap where the 3 zips join.

    We also use large bulldog clips on the zip junction because when the wind blows the zips open and the nasties get in.
