Electric Blanket from eBay?

Looking to get an electric blanket.

Saw the 20% sale on ebay.

This Lennox brand any good?

I spend big $$$ on a Sunbeam one a few years ago. After a while, one side stopped heating and then the other side did… that was about $200 down the drain. So I'm happy to take a punt on a $55 one.

Otherwise can someone find me a decently priced one.

    Glad to know that I'm not the only one who suffered death of my queen size branded washable electric blanket. One side died after I washed it once.

    Subsequently, I bought basic cheap ones from 2nds world (no stock now), Kmart etc with no failure issues.
    Go for it - just spot clean though if needed. Check out Kmart, Target and BigW as well - easy to return if there are any issues.

      I don't think I even washed mine before it died. It's under the mattress protector so would hardly get dirty.

      Fantastic idea about Kmart, Target and Big W due to easy returns.

      I must admit the Sunbeam had a metal elastic so it fitted very well, that's prob the only advantage over a cheaper one. But at the end of the day, just like an electric kettle, it does the same job.
