Recommendations to Alternative to Panasonic GX850

Hi guys,

Looking for a compact mirrorless camera for a birthday gift, a 180 degree turn screen is a must (for selfies :))
Has been looking at Panasonic GX850 (GF9), but wanting to look for alternatives to compare, any other recommended similar models?

    As far as compact cameras go, I stand by my Sony RX100 III, it may not be mirrorless but has tonnes of features and takes amazing photos and videos for the size. I bought mine for $600 of eBay brand new, from a retailer it will cost you around about $750. Has the flippable screen you're after and is much more portable than any other mirrorless on the market.

    do you think she would like to buy more lenses? ILC with 4k at the price of the GX850 is hard to find. If you dont need 4k Olympus epl-8 is an option and it has IBIS.

    RX100 is a good option if you think she wont like to change lenses.
