New 65inch 4K HDR TV for around The $1500

Hi guys

I am new here but am a long time website looker.

I looking for a new tv 65" 4K HDR for max $1500
I wanted something with reasonable HDR and a mid-good range brand.
I have been looking at jb hi fi and Harvey Norman for the last few weeks but not really any good deals atm.
Any suggestions?

Most are sitting at around the 2-2-5k mark atm which is just to much for me.

Wondering if I should wait for abit and hope there are some more sales?

I had the opportunity to buy a Panasonic 65 dx700a for $1500 2nd hand which was very tempting.

I have also been reading that there can be Amex cash back deals and also
Discounted gift cards deals that can be used but I am not sure how all these thing work?

Any ideas or comment would be appreciated.

  • Fairly recently the 65" 4k Sony (Android) TV was available for about $1600. I think it was the x7500D model (although that's testing my memory - it was the bottom of the range Sony 4k Android TV). Might be worth seeing if anyone has that in stock and would do it for $1600ish.

Just got a deal on a hisense 65 7000ug for $1500 from jb hi fi. So I'm happy

        • @DTripleThreat: you bought 10 of them! Always

        • @DTripleThreat:

Which JB HiFi? I might also know someone who is after one

  • I ended up going with a samsung ku6000 (bought it 2nd hand) which I'm pretty happy with. It is very entry level though (claims to have hdr, i don't have any hdr sources to assess) and it does suffer from motion judder.

    You can get a 60" ku6000 for around $1700 I

The jb near me wouldn't budge from $1998 for the m7000, which was supposedly their clearance price. Looks like people are having luck with other jbs though.

  • Sorry it was there last one and display model, had $1799 on the price as a clearance price but I got
Him down to $1500 quite easily.
HDR doesn't work for some reason but, strange.
I give hisense a call on Monday
