Hi all.

Stumbled acriss this site while researching VPN services. Personally found it to be really useful.

Summary: A concerned security person created a site that compares and contrasts VPNs using standardised data and put it into an easy to digest table.

I would be supremely interested in the OzB tech-head opinion on the site and the way in which the site owner calculates the data.

It's open to all to use and I suspect it will be very useful to the greater community.

For those curious I'm trialing BlackVPN because of the site. I have yet to get the Netflix App to work (I don't care about that personally) for US straleaming but I did get Amazon Prime to work and am using it on all my mobile phones and devices without much incident.

    Has a separate table for colour blind people. First time I've seen that. GREAT!

    Over Reddit, the most recommended one I have seen is iVPN. I think thatoneprivacysite guy is also using the same according to his comments.

    So are you happy with only Amazon Prime to work perfectly. Or are you looking for Netflix App to work as well ?

      Honestly, I'm not fussed about either working. It's the extra security I care about most.
      Only checked those services because I know that other OzB people would ask and for many..not having access is a deal-breaker.
      Cancelled my Amazon Prime trial when it ended and…the only reason I still have Netflix is for the wife and kids. Still far too much for them to watch on Oz Netflix even with it being 'Nerfed'. (US Netflix still doesn't work BTW)

        Yeah man US netflix dont work neither it will due to some serious security things.

        I would recommend you to go for Amazon Prime or Netflix Aus.

    I not looked at this site yet but i have been using netflix usa through my getflix and apple tvs.
    And im sure im still getting it,my sony tv played up after an update and i needed to to a hard reset which i lost all my settings.
    I had netflix on that too.
    But getflix now have issues getting netflix but im sure im still.
    So i dont want to tamper with any setting on my apple tvs.
    Now i have kodi on my tv and been using for about 8 months now not aware i should be using a vpn with it,thats whati thought getflix was also for.
    Getflix has a vpn included with subscription but i believe its not that great?
    I also just set up a kodi box and 4 months ago on another tv.

    So can someone tell me can i set this up a vpn just on devices? Samsung phone,ipad,sony tv and an android box and do they have apps?

    I have a telstra modem so if i have to set up through a modem i rather not as dont have a clue or want to mess up my Internet.

    But having a vpn will this be independent of my apple tvs? If i set up a vpn only on my sony tv with kodi and the kodi box?

    Here was me all this time not using a vpn and has got me worried.

    Any advise would be great as not that clued up on vpn etc.
    I do have a pc but pain in the arse to start up slow etc.
    So hoping a vpn would be done without a computer.
