  Have a look at buying separate tickets on 2 different budget carriers, eg scoot + indigo connecting through singapore.

  You might find a good deal this way.

  Hi Sp00ker scoot looks costly when we wants baggage. Because scoot price without baggage is cheap but when we add baggage it shows same price.

  Air Asia may be your best bet. Look for their sales, you can register with them to get emails on sales, should be under 1000 return in december

    Yep agree! I got some flights from Melbourne > KL 40% off, then KL > Mumbai 20% off last week.
    Was also another $80 cheaper because I booked them separately.

    Also, some days IWTF, Skyscanner and Expedia show Air Asian flights, some days they don't.
