I'm not sure if the comparison to Elevit is fair, IIRC you take Elevit prior to conception, this kind of product is for after! Again, IIRC, Blackmores has it's own Elevit equivalent "Conceive Well Gold" or something! ;)

    Yep, fair enough. However, very few people I know would recommend using Elevit post-conception! As you yourself have stated, the Blackmores contains iodine, which is very important for thyroid function and thus proper neural development in the foetus! ;)
