Kaged muscle supplements

Hi All,

Has anyone tried kaged muscle supplements?
The reviews are really good and they seem to be good. It's on the expensive side. But would appreciated if anyone who has been using it and saw the difference. I'm looking suggestions for BCAA, pre workout, post workout protein , clean burn. Etc.

  • If you eat enough protein already, do you need BCAA supplements? I am skeptical of all bodybuilding supplements, unless you are at the top of your game and need to find that small edge. How fit are you currently? Is your diet good?

To answer your question, these products all have pretty good ratings on the Bodybuilding.com store:

Not as many reviews, but good reviews on Amazon too:

Haven't tried them but they will make no difference because no supplement other than creatine has been shown to increase muscle mass.

If you want to take supplements than a better thing to do is put together a shake based on recommended daily allowances.

Start with vital premix from Bulk Nutrients which is simply a multivitamin following Australian gov RDA's in chelated form. I use 7 grams which is 100% RDA but you can use whatever you like.

The following amounts are what I use for a full day, you can adjust up or down:

Add 100g powdered oats (you know powdered oats are oats in a blender right?) and 100g maltodextrin for carbs,

Add 125g of some kind of protein such as WPI, chocolate is the only flavour that works for me.

Add 30g fats - I use olive oil but you can use coconut oil or other healthy fats. Do not skip fats.

Add 25g fibre, I use Benefibre from Chemist Warehouse. Ensure what you use dissolves or it will turn "gluggy" in water.

Add water to requirements eg. to fill the blender up and mix before drinking.

I use it as a meal replacement for breakfast and lunch and snacks but it works amazingly well for pre and post workouts.

    • Thanks. Shall try this.
