Tips on Buying New Lounge and Furniture?

Being the right arse I am I never buy anything new with the exception of food and If I find a great special. I've decided to splurge a bit this year on new furniture and lounges.. does anyone know any specials/ promo codes or have any tip for me? I know plush has 50% off but they are too expensive for me at half price. Total budget around $3000 - $4000 for everything.

( please be kind, I know this budget isn't much compared to what others spend on this kind of thing )

  • what does "everything" include?

  • Just bought a sofa at Focus on Furniture, they currently have the 30th anniversary sale on (I think for another week or so)

  • King

    • They are good. But you pay for it.

  • All furniture places seem like they are overpriced and full of garbage…..but King seemed to be the better alternative. Wait for the 50% off sale and go nuts.

    • king is ALWAYS on sale

  • Bunnings. Over priced as they are, they do have cheap furniture pieces. And if they don't, they sure do have the materials for you build one.

  • make sure you get leather

  • Fantastic furniture is very cheap

  • Go good quality second hand. Get stuff that is well built.
