What are people thinking? I've been holding out for months anticipating it and a corresponding nvidia price drop but apparently the performance signs aren't good, and to wait another 2 months at least will be tough. I'm thinking I might jump on a 1080 deal next time one comes around

If I don't keep waiting for Coffee Lake for a new build, I'm probably just going to get a 1080 as well. I've been holding off for 6 months (albeit not just for AMD), so I've had enough waiting.
Might switch back if Navi turns out to be decent, but until then…
2 months plus. They said it would be reveled at the end of July, may not even ship straight away, plus stock could be hard to find (locally) for a while.

Vega just keeps getting pushed back indefinitely, unfortunately. Glad I jumped on the 1070 back in September.
I really hope Vega is awesome, at least to keep nVidia on their toes, but the way people are teeing off on Vega in the comments section is a bad sign for performance.
