  • Is it any good?

Theres a few reviews from members in the previous deal. Some saying it tasted a lot like apple juice, some saying too sweet.. depends on if you like sweet cider i guess

      • It is very sweet, which I like, but the headaches from the sulphites were too much.
        So no more for me.

    • They sell it at the Opera House. Had some the other night. I liked it.

    • I didn't try them, but got a pack for my sister in the last deal and she bought more at full price afterwards, said they were very good.

        Is she an alcoholic?

Nah, I think she maybe had one can every couple weeks or so. She doesn't normally buy alcohol to drink at home so I guess they were nice.

  • I like a sweet cider and dont mind these. I prefer them over Somersby

    • do you know how do they compare to a montieths or a coldstream?

      • by tasting…

  • With all cider, look for '100% Australian grown apples' on the packaging, many of the cheaper brands use reconstituted apple juice (dried into a solid form, then rehydrated later, sometimes years later!) from China, but obviously don't say that on the label, so you can safely assume that if it doesn't say, it most likely is. China produces nearly half the world's apple juice. European brands often use Polish apples. Cloudy ones are generally better quality as well. Most are far too sweet IMHO.

This is made by Carlton & United Brewies (CUB). They claim to "use local ingredients where possible, but the volume needed year round demands sourcing from overseas too". At $9 / 6 pack, I can make a fair guess of where this cider's juice is sourced…
