As of the 1st of June Optus closed down the Home Zone service. What it means for Optus customers that used the home zone is they no longer can get a signal at home.
One of the options is to try a newer phone with more frequencies or a phone that can use wifi talk.
I currently use a Samsung S5, does the Samsung S8 have more frequencies and can any one tell me what they are?
The S8 allows you to turn on Wi-Fi talk which is similar to the Home Zone product. It is off by default and you will need to go into the settings and turn on VoLTE & WiFi Talk. May take 24 hours to become active.
