I want to purchase a Canon EOS 6D from ShoppingSquare ebay store :
AU $1,799.00

Postage: FREE Services from outside Australia
Item location: Warranty Service in Australia, Hong Kong
Posts to: Australia
Delivery: Estimated between Tue. 20 Jun. and Mon. 26 Jun.

Total amount I will pay will be AU $1,799.00 - 20% = $1439.20.

I am wondering if I will have to pay GST on this purchase ?

  You're supposed to according to the rules - but it depends what's written on the declaration completed by the seller and whether Customs picks it up when the package arrives in Australia.

  I would not risk $1439 on a online store that's based overseas.
