Do We Get Veloctiy Points if Booked Thru Agents Like Auntbetty (Skyscanner)

I was searching some international deals in skycanner and it is taking me to book some flights through auntbetty and many others. Basically they are booking qantas or VA/SQ flights but are cheaper when compared to same flights in Qantas/VA/SQ. So if i book flights through this agent will I get velocity frequent flyer points on flight purchase. They are carding 1.25% for CC payment, who do not charge surcharge for pymt thru CC AMEX?

Thanks for your time.

  • Yes you do. Sometimes it may not come through, so you can apply for missing points later from up to 6 months after the trip I believe

    • Hey thanks for your reply, I may get amex statement credit(veolocity points) when i use my CC. But I am booking through an agent a VA flight, do i get velocity points from them as well against my Frequent flyer number?

      • +1

do i get velocity points from them as well against my Frequent flyer number?

Yes. Most online travel agents I have used ask for your frequent flyer number at the point of sale, but it can be added against a booking later if necessary (or even after the flight as noted above).

        • thanks

        • @Ameen: Usually when you check in it asks for your frequent flyer number too
