I'm looking at buying the Surface Pro 4 i7 256gb model. Assuming that eBay has another 15% of deal tomorrow, I should be able to get a new one, Aussie stock, for around $1700.
Do you think prices will come down even more once the new model is released? Would it be worth it to wait,or should I just get one tomorrow?
Does anyone remember how much SP3 prices dropped after the SP4 came out?
I'm going overseas on July 1, so I was hoping to get it before then to claim TRS.
The i7 model is not great value in the Surface Pro format factor. If you really need it and know why go for it - otherwise give it another month or so and the SP4 clearances will really start.

If you live in sydney the Microsoft store on Pitt street have special pricing for "business" customers 25-30% for Eofy. Their definition of business customers is fairly broad.
