I was verbally abused by a staff member called Mark who was at the entry and literally chased down and yelled at to show my membership card, even though Mark has spoken to me many, many times and knew very well I am a member.
The men who ask for your membership at the door are constantly rude and disrespectful to women. They do not treat me this way when my husband is there shopping with me. In fact they are quite polite in front of him. I have never been so intimidated and embarrassed all at the same time, having this man shaking and yelling at me at the top of his voice with his face turning red and veins bulging on his forehead. This all took place while surrounded by shoppers that even had children with them.
I have notified management, it has now been 2 months of excuses. I have been notified that they have managed the situation and the remediation they have offered me is for me to call the store before going there, to check when the staff member is on duty so we do not have to cross paths. I feel this is a poor remediation and it shows no care or respect for the customers safety or wellbeing, as this man must surely be unstable to have behaved in such a manner.
I visited this store more than twice a week his excuse to his boss was he had had a bad day .
