It won't be Aus stock which does limit warranty options but these watches are pretty bulletproof. I got my Fenix 3HR through DWI and have no complaints.
I did look at DWI and eGlobal prices as well.
But I suspected and the DWI site confirmed it, it comes with EU and US maps, AUS and NZ customers need to buy local maps.Argh, that stinks. I hadn't even thought of that.
Rebel did have them at 20% off a little while back during one of their sales - I was so close to pulling the trigger. I guess you'll just have to hold out for either eBay or Rebel 15-20% off sales.

I did look at that comparison mate, looking at 5X due to better cycling and golf support.

KOGAN https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/garmin-fenix-5x-sapphire-editio… $799 I BOUGHT IT $749 29/10/2017 however it's "import model" nothing different but the map which pre-install south & north american, euro,even get middle east map. i'm just wondering where they import from ^^ joking! it's just not included australia and kiwi map! dam…….^^ if you smart enough your will figure out how to install most recent update oz&kiwi map. their all made in Taiwang(ROC) SOOOOOOOO the quality won't have any different.only different model is Chinese version(CV) Fenix 5x which including GPS+GLONASS+(BEIDOU)WHICH chinese version of GPS. the price for CV is 10% more then rest of world maybe becoz they are rich now day?……enjoy the watch
are you saying there is a method to get official domestic maps installed on the 5x without paying for them? are you able to provide a link?
There was something about bupa members being able to get 20% off. However I do not have any further info.
Your next option is to wait for a 20% ebay sale that with a merchant what sells it.
there isnt any super deals right now.
