Was looking to get a Session for the form factor and chanced upon this in a gearbest newsletter. For 15 bucks worth a try methinks. Apparently the FOV isn't really 120, more like 60ish according to one review, so watch out for that.

I bought a Polaroid cube+ recently as a helmet / dash cam. Not a bad toy.
Tempted to get one of these as well, but know I would use it for 5 min and put in the draw.

Footage looks amazing for a sub $20 cam. Grabbed one to see what they're like - could be fun.
The sample footage I saw looks like jello as soon as the camera is moved.

I would think not enough bitrate for capturing any license plate on moving vehicles. I wouldn't bother.
Check out the video posted below, it's not hard to read the licence plates of the vehicles shown (road test towards the end), granted it's in bright sunlight but nonetheless for $16 it works a lot better than many dash cams I have seen posted here that cost a lot more!
Got one too. But that image is pretty misleading. It's about twice that size, or that is a HUGE finger, hope that's a finger.

Useful feedback from youtube review: "Although the 720p videos are encoded at 30fps many of the frames are identical, giving the video an odd jerky appearance. This is apparent in this review if you look at objects passing by the car (where they are moving rapidly out of frame). I also found that many frames suffered from excessive motion blur. Dashcam action has as much shake (and fast motion) if not more than sports action IMO. Road surfaces are uneven, your car shakes and leans, opposite traffic coming at you on avg 60km/h + you are going in opposite direction = 120km/h..that's 2km/m…roughly 33 meters per second..you need just as high bitrate for good dashcam IMO footage for that 'critical millisecond' just before impact…
Yeah totally agree that dashcam needs to be able to handle motion smoothly and clearly. I have the Viofo A119 and have been pretty happy with it

Looks like it is more the Polaroid Cube form factor. Looks like a complete, all be it badly done, rip off of the Cube. But for $15? Each to their own.
