I have few important files in a folder and I have password protected that folder to a file with zipping it with winzip. Unfortunately I forgot that password( I have used couple of softwares but it ran for a week and unable to retrieve) and unable to retrieve it or recall the password… please suggest how to recover the password…. thank you …

yeah, i lost my prawn folder that way too. but i remembered that i typed the password with one hand it was easier to crack. still took 2 weeks at work LOLS
I once encrypted a partition while drunk. I know the first 18 characters of the key but not the rest 😥

bet you're glad you locked them up to begin with.
I have minimal security on everything I own just it make it easier for myself.
Bruteforce doesn't work… donno who to get the password…
Sorry to say but I don't think you can. Try and think hard about what you made the password!!
There should be some way out to retrieve the password…

look it up on youtube to see how it works, it's pretty fast but it also depends on what you set your password to I imagine it will be harder to crack something like Asg23@%#25235SDfah@%@%@^^Hdfhdfh than say OzBargain42 for example
ZIP Password Recovery Professional claims to recover WinZip passwords.
Not tried it myself.
