Brother HL-2130 Replacement Toner Cartridge

I'm looking for a cartridge for my printer.

The original part costs $70 at a local newsagent. I understand there are alternative products which may or may not work well with the printer. Read about the Protoner in a thread that's closed. Are they still the ones to get, if one wants to save some dough, without harming the machine?

Any comments appreciated!

  Get 2, and apply 'count20' ebay promo code, for effectively 2 for 94 (i.e. 47 each).

  Also, google "how to reset toner cartridge brother 2130", so that you can continue using your current catridge while waiting for a new one.

  Any reason not to go generic from eBay? It's not a super expensive printer is it?

  I've always used pretty generic cheapie ebay toners and never had a problem 5-8 years running.
