no idea to be honest. if you want to spend a little extra, EOFY sales are happening. Pretty sure Myer/Harris Scarf have almost 50% off most, if not all electrical appliances.
i been used a aldi kettle for a few years its good, makes the water hot,
Used to buy $20 sunbeams that only seemed to last a year, currently using $7.50 big w kettle so far it's lasted 4 years.
$29 kmart jobbie.

I have a KitchenAid Artisan kettle, works good and handy to know the temperature. Ridiculously expensive for a kettle but I didn't pay for it.
I've heard that KitchenAid are one of the best brands for small appliances.

Don't know why productreview people always give negative reviews on every kettle. Why ozbargain doesn't provide product review fucntion?
"better quality" will differ from person to person. I bought my electric kettle from Target for $30, it's lasted for 4 years and still doing it's job. no leaks and minimal cleaning.
