These are easy to find and for a reasonable price. USD$62 delivered from Amazon and cheaper prices elsewhere.

      • How long should a head last?

Erepends on the guy, some finish quickly whereas others take longer.

If you use it everyday or every few days the wear is about the same and I've gotten over 18 months from a set on a Panasonic but it really depends on how you use of, keep it clean and treat it well and you could get years. The new blade is a bit more robust then the original one as they updated it after it was launched to address longevity issues.

        • @Maverick-au: Do you happen to have any experience with Philips? My 9000 series blades are advertised to last 2 years, but mine didn't even last a year with daily shaves and cleaning in the station thing.

Not for a long time, the blade lasted quite a while but it never worked well on my skin type. I've tried all the major brands and none have worked well on my skin so I've gone back to the Mach 3 turbo.

Blade life can vary a lot depending on how much pressure you use and if you use a lubricant to name two.

Camera sales are indeed down, so now one can finally buy a shaver from a camera site. A dream come true. Though the real convergence hasn't happened yet: a camera integrated into the shaver, with Share button integrated for the State-approved spyware networks. Take a snap showing beard. Shave. Now take a snap showing smooth face. Share!

  • this is a spy shaver… it will spy on you

    • Not if you shave in a cheepwun special model tin foil hat.

      • Are you from the 1940s or something? I've used aluminium all my life. Occasionally lead too, when faced with Dunce rays.

I fear you left it too late.

          definitely

  • They send it without the cleaning fluid because of flammable liquids, it may be overseas product, got one from them a year or two ago and it was a Hong Kong based product.
Far as trimming goes, works ok if you keep it short, still has issues with flat lying hair, especially on the neck, the centre trimmer between the foils is near useless, that said nothing else will likely do any better.

    • i think this doesn't comes with the cleaning station
