    Roughly around $145.27 (the 10% GST) to be refunded.
    Any Insurance / Extra Care purchases won't be refunded.

    Need to show the rings and receipt. I think it should have your address written on the receipt.

  • Sounds great! any restriction or limit like below 1000 aud purchase only applicable, etc.

      In terms of bill amount, it should be more than $300 to claim the GST.

      • Does every bill has to be 300 n above? What if I have one 1000 bill n another 200 bill, can I claim as total 1200?

          @hashtagbargain:
          Note in particular:

          your purchases are from a single business with the same Australian business number (ABN) and total AUD 300 (GST inclusive) or more. For example, if you bought items from one business, even on separate invoices, that together total AUD 300, these items could be eligible for a tax refund under the TRS

          So:
          * you need a tax invoice
          * it must have your name, address, email or passport number
          * it must have their ABN

          If it is from a jeweller, perhaps ask for a valuation certificate to be sure.

          Consider lodging in advance using the app. If not, ensure you bring a creditcard or bank account details to the airport for them to process the refund into.

    Make sure your name is on the tax invoice.
    Name must match your travelling passport.

  • As it's more than $1000,the invoice needs to list your address as well.

    Nevermind, didn't see the first comment

    So finally I checked out at brisbane Airport, though I had lodged my claim online before but the TRS counter was un-attented, so I had to submit claim through Dropbox leaving my original tax receipts on 28th July. Now it has been more than two weeks,no refund to my account, not sure how it takes. What were the experiences others had while submitting claims through Dropbox? Thanks everyone.
