Black version at $50 is not worth it.
Indeed, just messaged them asking if it'll be the same as Grey. Won't be getting any future tech support from Jawbone since they're closing down.

Note that Jawbone shutdown it's fitness tracker arm and support for existing and new users has been going down hill.

Also be aware if they shut down the sync servers you will be out of luck.Yep - I wore the grey one for ages - was great but the back started to come away and it wouldn't charge anymore. Have departed the Jawbone camp as they've departed… They're not being manufactured anymore - stock is whatever stock is still in the system. Great price though.

Just checked the completed listing and there was 50 in total stock. Someone bought 5 at once and another 3 etc.
I found the Striiv to be useless outside after it updated software - screen too dim.
I would be just giving it as gift so dont mind giving it away for $12

Thanksi purchased the UP2 from Telstra Accessory store.
Unit arrived DOA, Telstra took 3 months to organise the RA, they wouldn't reply to emails.
Downright terrible service. wouldn't recommend buying from Telstra online.

Striiv has a heart rate monitor and a screen but Jawbone doesn't
i see , so same fucntionalities? i mainly for monitoring my sleep circles? alrady bought J2, do i need to buy Striv then? Thanks
PRetty much, but Striiv is better and will be kept updated for a long time whereas Jawbone is going out of business soon and won't be in the fitness game
Don't think this model has a HRM (the Bio version does).
Says so on the description, I have no idea :p
Striiv has a screen - can display notifications and time. Jawbone doesn't. Both track sleep and steps.

Compared with the basic Fitbit or HR/+? Can't speak for accuracy (Fitbit would probably be ahead in this regard, but can't find any solid figures), but if the HR monitor isn't important to you, this is great (just gone out of stock though :/).

i bought two of these, got them delivered yesterday, both work fine when connected to a charger, as soon as i unplug them they don't work, i think batteries are busted in them

Have you tried setup and sync - following the activation instructions?
yes, i tried everything, it even updated the firmware after the initial setup and sync,it also shows battery percentage as 100%, but once i unplug it from charger, it doesn't sync nor it displays any light nothing
If you double tap the top of the band while on your wrist no orange light flashes up at all?
If not, doesn't sound promising.

yes, it says connected but only when plugged into the charger, as soon as i unplug it, it disconnects
Just set my black Up2 up as well and having the exact same issue. Fine when connect to the charger but dead when disconnected
Same problem with mine. Have read comments on this and apparently Jawbone replace them for free if it's under warranty. Some models are defected…
Jawbone may have once upon a time but they're no longer trading.

Tempting…but I'm not sure if I'll buy it as it looks a bit bulky on the wrist. I was happy with the jawbone but it sucks that they've gone downhill and no longer producing fitness trackers.
Might wait for a sale on the Alta or a similar band with HR and waterproof

You can try jawbone up move, it's small and not bulky, i have been using it and it's good but it doesn't have HR monitor

As @nit001 mentioned above, might go with the Jawbone UP Move as it's smaller and does the same thing pretty much and cheaper too @ $9.60Ah ok that sucks. I'll let you know how it goes.

Just got a refund for the defective Up2, didn't have to fuss about returning it either which was a nice surprise.
So you got a refund before it arrived?
Ordered last Thursday. Arrived on Friday, put through refund application on Saturday.
I just put a request for mine too. Hopefully it goes through! Did you have to pay for return postage or did they send you a prepaid satchel?
I assume everyone will be returning theirs as they all seem defective. They should stop selling the Jawbone trackers altogether…

Same issue here, bought two of the Jawbone UP2 and both were faulty.
So I'm assuming you got a refund too, right? They haven't relisted them since the 20% off sale ended.
I received mine yesterday so emailed them last night. Hoping it will be easy to get a refund.
It's pretty easy, you just have to tell them what's wrong with the item and they'll refund within 1-2 hrs

Got refund no problems. They didn't ask to send it back.
My black Up2 was also defective. Refund through Telstra but have gone to Jawbone to see if they have a solution.
