I believe a generic ipad mini case can be used for all models.
Not 4. I think 4 has changed something a little so that it doesn't fit a lot of iPad mini cases that are compatible with 1 to 3.

Where is the best place to find an iPad mini 4 case?
I grabbed this case a month ago from The Good Guys in store. "Cygnett iPad mini 4 Urban Folio - Electric Blue/Grey"

On the shelf, it was listed as $30, and I was going to get it price matched to $25 to match online, but it scanned as $20. Has been a solid case with no quality issues, unlike the $10 eBay cheapie that I had on it previously that fell apart in 2 months of light use. There were other colours available too.
Price for the ipad mini cases are $24 before discount, making it $19.20 after discount.
Don't forget 2.6% off from cashrewards.

have to say these are a pretty flawed product. they look great when new.. but discolor significantly over time and look really shabby after a few months. I had the red one, then got a yellow one in the Good Guys clearance.
