Interesting. Using power sellers to match prices of conventional stores. Thoughts?

At what point ever has a store been cheaper than eBay in Australia?

Also, why would I match a price on eBay then have to wait for it to be shipped when I could just go to the store and get it that same day?

Also, Also, why would I only want a price match? I would want a price beat! Otherwise my loyalty should belong to the store that had it cheaper first.

    • Might be useful if its a store you don't live nearby.

That's really the only case I thought. For example, it would be good if we could price match some items from US stores here, but that probably wont happen. Asics shoes would be a good one.

free shipping beats driving to the store, finding parking, collect the item, queue up to pay, returning back to the vehicle to find some arse rolled their shopping trolley into the side of the vehicle, getting stuck in school zones/peak hour traffic on the way home.

in short, we prefer our shopping to be delivered.

      • only to have Australia post lose your parcel or have some person leave a note saying no one was home when they didnt even bother to ring the door bell

then get the run around from your local post office telling you your goods no longer here but at the closest depot

heh. hasn't happen yet, touch wood.

  • Agree. Prefer free delivery over in store
